Foreign Investors Inject Rp 636.31 Billion – These Are the Most Bought Stocks!

For nine consecutive full trading days, the Indonesia Stock Exchange Composite Index (IHSG) consistently gained and remained in the green zone. On Thursday (July 17, 2025), the index closed higher by 1.32%, settling at 7,287.34.

 

The total transaction value reached IDR 14.3 trillion, with 24.37 billion shares traded across 1.61 million transactions. Among the listed stocks, 355 posted gains, 234 declined, and 217 remained unchanged.

 

Foreign investors recorded a net buying value of IDR 636.31 billion across all market segments. Specifically, IDR 546.10 billion came from the regular market, while IDR 90.21 billion originated from negotiated and cash markets.

 

PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. (BMRI) emerged as the top stock purchased by foreign investors, with a net buy of IDR 183.03 billion. This occurred after BMRI had been experiencing a downward trend throughout the current month. Since the beginning of the month, BMRI shares had declined by 3.89%. With the return of foreign investor interest, the stock rose by 0.64%.

 

Foreign investors also actively accumulated shares of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (TLKM), recording a net buy of IDR 139.89 billion, and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBRI), with IDR 136.59 billion.
