Crypto Prices January 2, 2025: Bitcoin and Altcoins Gain! What to Predict Next?

DIGIVESTASI – Bitcoin and several major cryptocurrencies showed similar movement on Thursday (January 2, 2025), with most digital assets in the red zone.

According to CoinMarketCap data, Bitcoin (BTC), the cryptocurrency with the largest market capitalization, posted a slight increase of 1.02% over the past 24 hours, although it remains down 5.09% over the past week.

 

Ethereum (ETH) also showed gains, rising 0.59% in a day, despite a 4.03% drop over the week. Currently, ETH is trading at around IDR 54.6 million per coin.

 

Binance Coin (BNB) increased by 0.79% in the last 24 hours and 0.59% over the week, with its price now at IDR 11.5 million per coin.

 

Cardano (ADA) recorded a significant gain, rising 8.75% in a day and 0.09% over the week, bringing ADA to IDR 14,858 per coin.

 

Solana (SOL) also strengthened, rising 2.42% in the last 24 hours, although it is still down 1.73% over the week, with its current price at IDR 3.1 million per coin.

 

XRP remained in the green zone with a sharp increase of 11.94% in a day and 1.39% over the week. XRP’s price now stands at IDR 37,976 per coin.

 

Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) also rose by 2.84% over the past day, despite a 2.90% decline over the week, with its price at IDR 5,288 per token.

 

Meanwhile, stablecoins Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC) experienced slight declines of 0.01% today but remained stable at USD 1.00 per token.

 

The total cryptocurrency market capitalization today reached USD 3.32 trillion, or approximately IDR 54,111 trillion, marking an increase of about 2.04% in the last 24 hours.
