Erwin Ciputra Increases PTRO Stake, Gains Rp277 Million in Capital Appreciation
Erwin Ciputra has increased his stake in PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) after acquiring shares at a premium price during Monday's (Feb 10) trading session.
According to PTRO’s Corporate Secretary, Anto Broto, Ciputra purchased 800,000 shares, raising his ownership in the company from 0.0779% to 0.858%.
Broto stated that the acquisition was made as part of an investment strategy. Notably, Erwin Ciputra also serves as a Commissioner at PTRO.
The shares were acquired at an average price of Rp3,143.75 per share, which is 1.41% higher than PTRO’s opening price on the same trading day.
By the end of the trading session, PTRO's stock surged 21.18%, gaining 610 points to close at Rp3,490 per share. This increase resulted in an estimated capital gain of Rp346.25 per share for Ciputra, totaling approximately Rp277 million.
According to data from IDN Financials, Monday’s stock price jump placed PTRO, an oil and gas company owned by Prajogo Pangestu, among the day’s Top Gainers.
In contrast, at the end of last week, PTRO was listed as a Top Loser after its stock price plunged 24.61% in a single trading session.
