Foreign Investors Bought Rp225.8 Billion in Session I -This Stock Led the Buying Spree

Foreign investors recorded a net foreign buy of Rp225.8 billion during the first trading session on Thursday (18/6/2026). Throughout the session, foreign investors accumulated total purchases of approximately Rp5 trillion while executing sales worth Rp4.8 trillion.

 

However, the majority of the net buying activity was concentrated in a single stock, namely PT Merdeka Gold Resources Tbk (EMAS). The company, owned by Edwin Soeryadjaya and Winato Kartono, posted a net foreign buy amounting to Rp961.8 billion.

 

Meanwhile, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) ranked second with foreign net purchases totaling Rp52.8 billion. The following are the stocks with the highest foreign net buy values during the first trading session:

  • PT Merdeka Gold Resources Tbk (EMAS) – Rp961.8 billion
  • PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) – Rp52.8 billion
  • PT Timah (Persero) Tbk (TINS) – Rp24.9 billion
  • PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) – Rp13.8 billion
  • PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk (PANI) – Rp11.1 billion
  • PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) – Rp10.9 billion
  • PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN) – Rp9.7 billion
  • PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA) – Rp8.4 billion
  • PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) – Rp8.2 billion
  • PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) – Rp5.7 billion

On the other hand, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) recorded the largest foreign net sell, reaching Rp287.7 billion. Below is the list of stocks with the highest foreign net selling during the first trading session:
