Top 10 Stock Decliners of the Week: GEMA, OBAT, and BEER Tumble Sharply

During the trading week from April 21 to April 25, 2025, ten stocks recorded the steepest declines, making them the week’s top losers. PT Gema Grahasarana Tbk. (GEMA) led the list, plunging 27.61% or 37 points, from Rp134 to Rp97 per share.

 

Trailing behind, PT Brigit Biofarmaka Teknologi Tbk. (OBAT) dropped 16.94%, from Rp620 to Rp515. PT Matahari Department Store Tbk. (LPPF) also made the list with a 16.79% decline, falling from Rp1,995 to Rp1,660.

 

PT Suryamas Dutamakmur Tbk. (SMDM) shed 15.75%, down from Rp1,460 to Rp1,230 per share. Meanwhile, PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk. (JPFA) fell 11.44% to Rp1,780 from last week's Rp2,010.

 

Shares of PT MNC Digital Entertainment Tbk. (MSIN) also declined 11.32% or 60 points, moving from Rp530 to Rp470. Other decliners included ITMG, down 10.89% to Rp22,100; IOTF, which lost 10.64% to close at Rp126; and AIMS, down 10.49% to Rp290.

 

Rounding out the top ten, PT Jobubu Jarum Minahasa Tbk. (BEER) fell 9.72%, dropping from Rp72 to Rp65.

Interestingly, these declines occurred despite the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) rising 3.74% over the week to 6,678.915, up from 6,438.269 previously. Market capitalization also rose 3.99% to Rp11.56 trillion from Rp11.12 trillion.

 

However, trading activity slowed. Average daily transaction frequency dropped 4.88% to 1.11 million trades. The average daily transaction value declined 24.02% to Rp11.06 trillion, while average daily volume slipped 19.09% to 18.234 billion shares from 22.53 billion.
