MSCI Inc has announced the results of its review or rebalancing of the MSCI equity indexes for August 2025. All changes will take effect starting from the market close on August 26, 2025, and will be officially implemented on August 27, 2025. This information was conveyed by MSCI Inc earlier in August.
For the MSCI Global Standard Indexes under the Indonesia category, MSCI has included PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA) and PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN) in its index calculation. Both companies were among those anticipated to be added to the MSCI index. DSSA is part of the Sinar Mas Group, while CUAN is controlled by Prajogo Pangestu.
Meanwhile, MSCI has removed PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) from the MSCI Global Standard Indexes under the MSCI Indonesia Index category.
For the MSCI Global Small Cap Indexes, six Indonesian companies have been added to the index, namely PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk (AADI), Alamtri Resources (ADRO), PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG), PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO), PT Raharja Energi Cepu Tbk (RATU), and PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk (TAPG).
Meanwhile, two Indonesian companies have been removed from the MSCI Global Small Cap Indexes, namely PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA) and PT Panin Financial Tbk (PNLF).
