IHSG Remains Sideways, Here Are Stock Picks Worth Watching

The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) ended Friday’s trading session (December 19) slightly lower, slipping 0.10% to close at 8,609.55. Index movements were mixed, with several stocks posting notable gains, although pressure remained on a number of large-cap names.

 

DSSA rose 3.34%, FILM surged 9.94%, and AMMN gained 2.85%, providing support to the index. Meanwhile, BBCA declined 1.53%, followed by BYAN, which fell 4.06%, and TLKM, which dropped 1.45%, weighing on overall performance.

 

In terms of fund flows, foreign investors recorded net buying of Rp438.07 billion in the regular market, bringing total net inflows across all markets to Rp2.67 trillion.

 

Sectorally, six out of eleven sectors closed in negative territory, with the transportation sector suffering the steepest decline of 2.86%. On the other hand, the non-cyclical consumer sector proved the most resilient, posting a modest gain of 0.18%.

 

On the corporate front, Bangun Karya Perkasa Jaya (KRYA), through its subsidiary ECGO, signed a procurement contract with EVMoto for 10,000 electric motorcycles valued at Rp240 billion, or approximately Rp24 million per unit.

 

Deliveries are scheduled to commence in March 2026 and are expected to contribute gradually to revenue starting that year. The agreement aligns with the company’s business transformation following the entry of a new controlling shareholder, Green City SG Pte. Ltd., in August 2025.

 

Meanwhile, Baramulti Suksessarana (BSSR) announced an interim cash dividend II totaling USD20 million to be distributed over 2.62 billion outstanding shares.

 

With net profit for the first nine months of 2025 reaching USD61.58 million, the payout represents a dividend ratio of approximately 32.5%. The cum-dividend date for the regular and negotiation markets is set for January 2, 2026, with dividend payments scheduled for January 15, 2026.
