The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has officially issued an Unusual Market Activity (UMA) warning for 11 stocks that experienced abnormal price surges. This alert is aimed at protecting investors while signaling market participants to exercise greater caution before making investment decisions.

The stocks flagged under UMA include PT Pudjiadi Prestige Tbk (PUDP), PT Multi Garam Utama Tbk (FOLK), PT Bank Permata Tbk (BNLI), PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR), PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO), PT Star Pacific Tbk (LPLI), PT Harta Djaya Karya Tbk (MEJA), PT Sekar Bumi Tbk (SKBM), PT Cilacap Samudera Fishing Industry Tbk (ASHA), PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), and PT Janu Putra Sejahtera Tbk (AYAM).

Head of IDX’s Transaction Supervision Division, Yulianto Aji Sadono, emphasized that the issuance of a UMA announcement does not automatically imply a violation of capital market regulations. His statement was conveyed through the exchange’s official disclosure on Wednesday (September 24, 2025).

The latest information from each issuer has been made available on IDX’s official website, ranging from monthly reports, clarifications on trading volatility, shareholder meeting agendas, to share listings. At present, IDX is closely monitoring trading patterns to evaluate the unusual price increases.

PUDP shares recorded a sharp price jump following the last disclosure on September 3, 2025, related to its monthly shareholder registry report. FOLK also climbed abnormally after releasing its trading volatility explanation on September 22, 2025.

BNLI had previously been flagged under UMA on February 25, 2025. The most recent disclosure concerned the publication of its shareholder meeting call notice on September 9, 2025. VKTR also showed unusual upward movement, with its last disclosure issued on September 22, 2025. PTRO was likewise flagged after releasing its plan for the annual public expose on the same date.

LPLI showed irregular activity, with its most recent report being a shareholder registry update on September 8, 2025. Prior to that, MEJA’s trading had been suspended on April 30, 2025, and from May 10 to July 23, 2025, with a UMA alert issued on April 23, 2025.

SKBM also posted unusual price gains, with the latest disclosure being its monthly shareholder registry report on September 9, 2025. Previously, the exchange had imposed a cooling-down suspension on December 19, 2024, and issued a UMA alert on December 16, 2024. ASHA was added to the list following its disclosure on September 18, 2025.

BULL displayed suspicious trading patterns, with the latest report being the summary of an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on September 17, 2025. The stock had also been flagged under UMA on March 18, June 20, and September 15, 2025. As for AYAM, its last disclosure was the monthly shareholder registry update on September 10, 2025, following a previous UMA alert on June 20, 2025.

The IDX urged investors to pay close attention to issuer responses to its inquiries, review company performance, and reconsider corporate action plans that have yet to receive shareholder approval. Investors were also reminded to evaluate all potential risks before making investment decisions.

Through this UMA announcement, IDX expects investors to remain prudent and cautious. Every investment decision should always be based on official disclosures from listed companies.
