Conglomerate Prajogo Pangestu continues to hold the title of Indonesia’s richest individual as of September 2025, according to Forbes.

Based on the Forbes Real Time Billionaires List on Saturday (September 6, 2025), the net worth of the PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) owner stands at 33 billion US dollars, or around Rp541.2 trillion (exchange rate Rp16,400 per US dollar).

With that level of wealth, Prajogo Pangestu not only secures the top spot as the wealthiest person in Indonesia, but also ranks first in Southeast Asia, and occupies the 60th position on the global billionaires list.

In second place is Low Tuck Kwong, founder of PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN), whose net worth amounts to 25.1 billion US dollars (Rp411.6 trillion).

The third and fourth positions remain with the Hartono brothers. R. Budi Hartono is ranked third with 20.1 billion US dollars (Rp329.6 trillion), followed by Michael Hartono in fourth place with 19.3 billion US dollars (Rp316.5 trillion).
